I woke up today and started studying for my final at 9am. Around 8am I had a tasty breakfast of Peach Chobani Yogurt and 3/8 cup homemade granola.

  After breakfast I headed to school to take my only final of the semester. Well, the whole class got a really pleasant surprise…the professor, after emphasizing all semester that philosophy is a collaborative subject, decided to let us all take our final collaboratively, so we basic took the final in groups! It was so much less stressful, and a great last final for my undergraduate career. I still have two final papers due on Wednesday and whenever I can get it done, otherwise I’m almost graduated!

I came home and had a snack to tide me over until lunch

Around 12:15 I made my lunch:

Lunch was a shrimp salad and toasted hamburger bun. My salad included:

  • green leaf lettuce
  • green peppers
  • 2.5 oz shrimp
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Honey Lemon Viniagrette

This salad was another nice light summery salad and very delicious!

I had a snack around 2:15 of 1.5 oz of pita chips, and a Crystal Light To Go packet. Crystal Light always fills me up a lot, which probably means I should just drink more water, because I’m sure it would have a similar effect, but oh well!

I’m heading to work at 4pm. After work Tyler and I will be heading to the gym for a workout. I’m planning to make chicken sausage sandwiches and roasted sweet potatoes for dinner tonight…I can’t wait!

Then when I got home I started making dinner for Tyler and I and snacked on some carrot sticks.

Dinner was delicious!

I had 3 oz of roasted sweet potatoes (tossed them in a little bit of olive oil and salt, pepper, and paprika before roasting them), some more carrot sticks, and a chicken sausage on a hamburger bun with some ketchup. It was like grilling out and having a hamburger and fries, only soooo much healthier and better for me!

For dessert I’m having some Dove Dark Chocolate! and Skim Milk (not pictured sorry!).

On a different note, I decided to change the name of the blog again, to Jogging My Memory, mainly for congruency between the website Tyler and I are slowly creating and my blog. If Tyler ever starts his own blog, it may or may not have the same name, but will obviously be all about him (well probably some about me haha). The address is still the same but obviously the name is different. Hopefully, with some more free time, Tyler and I will get the full website running, so that we can include things like a photo album, a page about us, and who knows what else. The address for that is just joggingmymemory.com and eventually there will be a link of some sort from my blog to the main page and vice-a-versa.

Well that’s about it for the day. Tomorrow will be spent finishing my final paper(s) and probably doing some house work because there is a lot to be done after such a hectic weekend. I hope everyone had a wonderful Monday!
