Friday was May Day…drinking=chaos!
Saturday, Tyler and I went for a bike ride, from my parent’s beach house to Grand Haven. On our return home, we had gotten about half way there when a thunderstorm with lightning and torrential rain broke out. We were soaked to the bone by the time we got back to the beach house about 20 minutes later. We drove home wet and cold! When we got home we showered and had some Bailey’s Irish cream and hot chocolate to warm up hehe. We had Applebee’s for dinner (using a gift card we got for Easter from Ty’s parents). We also made a big decision at dinner that I will write more about later.
Today I had a sorority senior picnic, and another meeting at 9:30, my last meeting as an active actually. At the senior picnic (which was an indoor picnic because of the unpredictable weather, all the seniors got these really cute clipboards as gifts, I’ll post a picture of it tomorrow when I use it for the first time!
Now I’m off to study for my final tomorrow in Ancient Philosophy and eat a light dinner at some point.
Lastly, I wanted to express my condolences for Jenna (of Eat, Live, Run) and her family, in the death of her younger brother. I encourage everyone to keep Jenna and her family in their thoughts and prayers in this trying and sad time! I am so impressed with the support the blogging community shows, and I hope that one day I can meet some of these amazing people and thank them for the impact they have had on my life.
