After breakfast I got to work on my last assignment of the semester and of my undergraduate career. This assignment was honestly one of the most enjoyable and worthwhile assignments I have ever had. As a part of my senior seminar (a required class), I was required to write a Lifeview Paper. The focus of the paper depends on the class, but it is usually a summary of things  you have learned, values you have, and the impact different circumstances have had on you. This paper really gave me a chance to reflect on the past 22 years, but especially the past 8 years. I have been through and experienced a lot in my lifetime, and while not all these experiences have been ones I would wish on another person, I really think that I have the capability to appreciate all these experiences for what they have taught me and for the fact that they have influenced me, making me the person I am now. My paper addressed everything from my faith, to my sports background (or lack thereof), to how I grew up. I’m not sure what I will do with the paper, but I know I will keep it because it says a great deal about me, and I think it could be motivating to look at when I am having trouble sticking the goals that I have set for myself, or questioning why I have done what I have.

Once I finished my paper (it was 21 pages long in total), I got to work on lunch.

I had a leftover cheeseburger with carrot sticks and pita chips…I’ve been eating a lot of very summery food lately. Hmmm.

After lunch I showered and then got ready to run some errands. I did all of the following

  • picked up seat card for graduation
  • picked up cover for Lifeview Paper
  • dropped off survey and Lifeview Paper to Kinesiology Department
  • went to Target to get myself a reward for being done with all my undergraduate work!

Target was the highlight of my day! Not only did I pick up a few treats for myself, I also ran into my cousin there and ended up spending about an hour extra just talking to her and wandering the store! I had called my mom before I got to the store and she gave me permission to get myself a cute top on her! Thanks Mom!

My treats included 2 boxes of Caramel Nut Brownie Luna Bars (on sale for $4.50 and with a free extra Chocolate Raspberry Luna Bar!), and this adorable gray top! A steal at $12.99! I LOVE TARGET!

I was hungry after all that shopping so I came home and had 2 servings of pita chips for a snack.

Now I’m working on dinner for Tyler and I, some sort of chicken and pasta, and a vegetable. We’ll see how it turns out!
