I took a few pictures on the bus ride to the point where we were putting in.

Tyler and Trent

Me (and part of my dad in front)
Once we got on the river we floated and paddled for awhile. An hour or so in we cracked open the cooler I had packed and passed goodies between kayaks. We got two tandem kayaks, so my dad and I rode in one, and Tyler and Trent rode in the other.
I had a Mike’s Cranberry Hard Lemonade and a Kashi TLC Roasted Almond Crunch Bar. I REALLY liked this bar. I’ve mentioned before, but I definitely prefer crunchy granola bars to chewy ones, and this was just what I’ve been wanting. They are very similar to Nature Valley Bars, but a little more nutty in my opinion. I can’t wait to eat more of these and be able to enjoy them a little more than I could in the tippy kayak!

A little later we stopped for a bathroom break (in the woods no less) for the boys. We also muched on some Organic Corn Tortilla Chips, I had about a serving.

Is it me, or is my dad secretly avoiding the camera…I think he’s worried I’ll put goofy pictures of him up here.
I think we all had a lot of fun!

Don’t these two look like they’re having a great time!
When we finished up at the river we started the drive back to the beach house stopping at Papa Murphy’s Pizza to pick up some pizzas to take home and have for dinner.
My dad and I got a large DeLite Chicken BBQ Pizza

Tyler and Trent got a large Stuffed 5 Meat Pizza

It doubled in size when we baked it, look how huge it is!
While the pizza’s were baking I snacked on these Reduced Fat Cheese Nips (about 1 serving). I also drank about a glass and a half of Pinot Grigio before and during dinner.

I started out with 1/4 of the Chicken BBQ Pizza

However, I quickly decided after I demolished these two, that I wanted more, so I ate another 1/4, making the total 1/2 of the pizza. My daddio ate the other half.

We chatted with my dad for a little while, I cleaned up the dishes. My dad also showed us one of Chico’s newest tricks, opening the sliding door to our screened in porch. Chico also opens doors with lever handles. What a crazy cat. A little while later Tyler and I headed back to the loft, my dad stayed at the beach house with Chico, and Trent headed back to his apartment.

- Chico, the cat that opens doors
Isn’t he cute, he’s a fun to wrestle with too.
