A Rather Gray Day

The weather is not so nice out today. It’s supposed to rain during part of the day which is a huge bummer because Tyler and I have been planning to go to a Pop Evil concert for weeks! Pop Evil is a local band (local to western MI) that has really hit it big and gotten extremely popular in the past year! They are pretty hard rock, and not exactly my style, but a few of their songs have become some of my favorites, especially Somebody Like You (that link is to the version on their website).

I would recommend watching this You Tube video of Somebody Like You, it’s an awesome song! I’m hoping that it doesn’t rain this evening, because Tyler and I would really like to go to this concert!

Anyways, we went to the gym this morning early. Today was my easy workout day, because I’ve got an intense one planned for tomorrow. We warmed up with a few laps around the indoor track, then I lifted for 30 minutes. After lifting, Tyler and I 10 minutes of abs. Then I did 5 minutes on the recumbent bicycle (that was all I could stand), and another 15 minutes on the elliptical on level 3. To cool down we did another 4 or 5 laps walking around the indoor track. Like I said, it was my easy day. I felt really jealous watching Tyler run around the indoor track, he did 3 miles, but I know my legs need a day off from running so I can do my best tomorrow.

Breakfast was a Yoplait Thick and Creamy Light French Vanilla Yogurt, a 3.25 oz banana, 2 oz of blueberries, and 1/3 cup of Cascadian Farms Organic Cinnamon Raisin Granola.

I used breakfast time to catch up on my blogging. I absolutely love reading all these different blogs every day. I find so much inspiration and motivation from them!

I start my housecleaning job today. Another good reason why I did a light workout today. I hope it goes well!

Lots to do before work see you all later!

Oh and don’t forget to check out Meghann’s Blue Mountain Organics Giveaway! I hope I win so I can try some of their nut butters!
