Back In The Game

When Tyler got home, we did an 11 minute ab workout off our new U-Verse Exercise TV. It was called “Bridal Absessions” and it was actually a decent workout, as well as HILARIOUS. We made fun of the woman’s goofy comments about fitting into dresses and bikinis the entire time. Oops!

After our ab workout we drove to the gym. Tyler went inside to lift, I stayed outside to get in a good run. I ran 3.25 miles in under 29 minutes. It was a rather hilly run as well, so not too shabby eh? I think the couple days I took off running really gave my legs a good break. I felt like I was running strong today, and I loved it!

I did some stretching after my run and a few minutes later Tyler came out and after a quick 5 minute trip to the store to pick up something for Tyler’s workout planning, we headed home for dinner.

Dinner was relatively simple, I’ve felt kind of burned out in the cooking department, hopefully tomorrow will be a little more impressive. I had about 1.5 cups steamed broccoli (from frozen) with 3/4 oz melted colby jack cheese and 1 sundried tomato mozzarella chicken sausage.

Boring I know…

Dessert was a little more exciting and very tasty!

I had 1/2 a granny smith apple (4 oz) and 2 Tbs. Fat Free Marzetti’s Caramel Dip.

I was still a little hungry so I ate 1 serving of Back to Nature Cinnamon Graham Sticks. I love these things!

I haven’t talked much about my weight on here, and I still don’t plan on giving specific numbers, but I did want to share that all the hard work is paying off. I have lost a few pounds since I started blogging. Not only have I lost a few pounds, my body feels so much stronger and leaner, I am a lot happier, and I feel more energetic. It is so motivating to see the payoff of my hard work. It makes me want to stick with the lifestyle changes I have made even more so than before. I know it won’t always be easy, and I won’t always have rewards such as weight loss and getting in better shape, so I think it is important to record times like these where I feel so strong in my conviction that I am doing the right things for my health, for my body, and for my future.

Well that’s it for the night, thanks for letting me share my thoughts with you!
