My breakfast was a comforting yogurt bowl that contained French Vanilla Yogurt, 1/3 cup granola, 1 3 oz banana.

It’s a kind of gray day outside, so a sweet, banana-y, oaty bowl of yogurt was really just what the doctor ordered.
Around 10 I went out for a run. I needed a little time to zone out, and this run was great for that. I brought my iPod which I haven’t done in probably a month, and listened to some of my favorite slower songs, including Grey Blue Eyes by Dave Matthews and Bittersweet Symphony by The Verve. I ended up running 4 miles in 35:30. Just under a 9 minute mile. I ran a little slower than usual but picked up the pace for the last half mile, because I really wanted to finish under 36 mins, and I did! This run really made me feel ready to start increasing my mileage while maintaining a good pace, it was definitely a confidence boosting run!
After a long relaxing shower, I got down to making lunch.
I made a 1/2 of a whole wheat pita sandwich with 1/2 oz shredded colby jack cheese, lettuce, 2 oz of turkey deli meat, and BBQ Sauce. Once I stuffed the pita, I put it under the broiler for about 5 minutes to get the cheese all melty and the other stuffings warm. With the pita sandwich I had 1 serving of Triscuits Wheat Crackers, and 5 oz of grapes.

A delicious warm lunch with a few crunchy munchy items to make it more filling. I’ve never really used the broiler much, but I’m discovering now, that it can be great for warming up sandwiches, and maybe even pita pizzas? Hmmm…foodie ideas are brewing in my head!
I’ve got a few errands to run and I’m going to spend an hour or two weeding at my uncle’s house. I’m sure that will require a snack or two to keep my going which I will post later along with dinner. I’m kind of craving couscous, so that might just be what I have for dinner, we’ll have to see what Tyler is in the mood for.
Ready set, GO!

hey this is a very interesting article!
