My bowl contained:
1/2 cup oats, 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup skim milk, 2 oz strawberries, splenda (fake fake fake!)

Breakfast was early, because Tyler had to leave extra early to avoid some nasty construction on his commute to work. After Tyler left I paid some bills and cleaned the bathroom.
At 9:30 I did the 30 Day Shred Level 2. Thank you Jillian, you make me feel so fantastic! Then it was time to get ready for yoga, so I freshened up a bit, then drove to the gym for the 10:30 yoga class. The instructor’s name is Kathy, and she reminds me a lot of my mom, very sweet, and just a super nice lady! She teaches on Tuesdays and Fridays so those are the classes I am going to from now on. I’ll miss Kathy when I move hehe. Anyways, this was another great class, it was hard, but I felt so rewarded afterwords and so relaxed and happy. I LOVE yoga!
After yoga I drove back home and made myself some lunch! I heated up the rest of the Brown Sugar Roasted Sweet Potatoes that I made for lunch yesterday! I also decided to use some of this Dubliner Irish cheese we bought at Trader Joe’s when we were in Chicago.

I used 3/4 oz of Dubliner Cheese and melted it on a half of a whole wheat pita. Together with the sweet potatoes (with a little ketchup for dipping) this was an awesome and very flavorful lunch!

I had to have little dessert and stick with the Trader Joe’s theme. Can you guess what I had?

2 Trader Joe’s Vanilla Meringues…a little taste of heaven! FYI…I only have 2 left!
I got a message from a good friend of mine after lunch seeing if I wanted to go to the beach. I jumped at the opportunity.
We spent about 2 1/2 hours at the beach. Afterwards we stopped by a coffee shop and both got an iced coffee with coffee ice cubes! It doesn’t get watered down, how awesome is that! I added some Splenda to mine.

While I sipped my iced coffee when I got home, I also munched on this Luna Bar! Love the Caramel Nut Brownie flavor, but it just doesn’t compare to the White Chocolate Macadamia.

I can’t seem to find the White Chocolate Macadamia flavor anywhere except WalMart! What the heck! I really really dislike shopping at WalMart, it gives me icky feelings inside for a number of different reasons, that I just don’t have the energy to go into right now, suffice to say I don’t like shopping there. I need to find a cheap source of these Crack White Chocolate Macadamia Luna Bars!
Tyler got home shortly after my adventures in Luna Bar land. He wanted to get in some cardio after his lifting at the gym, and he convinced me to go for a bike ride with him…2 a day anyone?
Our bike ride turned into a 1 1/2 hour bike ride and 1/2 hour hike. We found a random bike trail which led to a random hiking trail, and we just couldn’t contain our excitement, so we spent a little time exploring the hiking trail mid bike ride.
When we finally got home around 8pm, I got right down to dinner. I browned some pork sausage that was in the freezer that we got from Tyler’s uncle who owns a meat processing plant. I don’t like to eat a whole lot of meat, but wwhhhoooooaaaa was this good sausage! We don’t waste food in this house kids! The pork sausage went to good use as a pizza topping for a whole wheat pizza crust we also had in the freezer. Tyler wanted a meatza pizza, so I let him go at it!

We should get him a chef hat and me an apron, what a pair!
We ended up with a whole wheat pizza crust topped with some spaghetti sauce, pork sausage, turkey pepperoni, bacon crumbles, and of course shredded cheese (colby jack-not mozzarella, gotta use what we have!).

While the pizza was in the oven we cut up this humongo watermelon!

And here’s my dinner: 2 pieces of meatza pizza (1/4 pizza) and a bowl of watermelon chunks!

Unfortunately, the SPF 8 I applied before I went to the beach just didn’t cut it, and I know have a new nickname from Tyler: Raccoon-Lobster. Raccoon because I wore sunglasses at the beach and have some ridiculous raccoon-eye tan lines, and lobster because my legs (and a few other places!) look like lobster! I feel very unhappy…trust me!
I needed a little chocolate loving with all this burnt-ness.
Dessert: Dove Chocolates…mmmmmmm! 5 Dark Chocolates and 1 Milk Chocolate with Caramel. Sorry too busy eating them to take a picture…we’ve all seen the Dove’s before hehe!
This day was filled with all kinds of randomness, bathroom cleaning, yoga, beach, bike rides, hikes, pizza, coffee, and sunburns. I’m super happy about how much activity I got in today and how I ate, I might have had a lot of meat in my pizza tonight, but I limited myself to 2 slices which was definitely a good choice because I was full after 2! So I may be sunburnt and tired, but I don’t feel guilty about what I ate, because I made good choices overall!
Hope you had a great Tuesday! Tomorrow is HumpDay!

Coffee ice cubes?! Pure genius!! All coffee shops should do that!
Your day sounds great! Coffee ice cubes–now that’s really smart!!
I LOVE YOGA too
When are you moving (I’m sure you mentioned this and I missed it, sorry!)
<3 jess
I feel the same way you do about Wally World – my dislike for that store is way too much for the blog!
I’m in love with that lunch! Pita, cheese, SP – LOVE! Coffee ice cubs is genius!
I can’t find the WCMN lunas either! they’re SO good! Walmart stresses me out too. I actually only like going there for gum because I have a sewious addiction to it and can get it cheap there haha.
love that piz!
Jess
I’m moving in late July (probably the very last week).
K & Julie
I’m so glad I’m not the only one who dislikes Wally World! It may be cheaper than a lot of places, but I’d rather spend the extra $$ and go somewhere else! Too bad they’re the only ones with the WCMN Lunas!
Your eats look great
I’ve only had the WCMN Luna once. I bought it from this little organic food store in my college town in Maine. I haven’t seen any around in SoCal yet though.
I have a cousin who lives in Sacramento, but I’ve never really been there. Good luck with the move!
