I’m posting from Sac right now! I wanted to do a recap of the weekend so I’ll get to Monday and Tuesday tonight when I have a little more time!
I had such an amazing weekend! Sorry this post is so delayed, but I hope you enjoy hearing about all the delish eats and fun times!
Thursday
Thursday I had breakfast then met up with my dad for coffee before an hour or so long bike ride.

Lunch was a Flat Out Mini Wrap with Dubliner Cheese and Sun Chips and some watermelon.

I drove a few hours and met up with Ethanie on the interstate at an exit. I picked up this Diet Root Beer at the gas station on the way, and discovered I really don’t like drinking pop much anymore.

I snacked on a Luna WCM Bar. Melty but good! I also shared a little with Ethanie, I think she enjoyed it as well.

Once we got into Indy we stopped by to say hello to one of Ethanie’s good friends Amanda. The three of us ended up going out to dinner at P.F. Chang’s. I had a glass of the Pacific Rim Dry Riesling, shared some lettuce wraps with Ethanie as an appetizer, ordered the Coconut Curry Vegetables with brown rice for my entree. I ate about 3/4 of the dish. It was awesome!

After dinner we went and watched The Proposal! Sandra Bullock was hilarious! I really enjoyed the movie!
We got to bed super late and were really tired.
FRIDAY
Friday morning we started off with some peaches and almonds Ethanie had brought with her. We both travel with snacks haha.

After breakfast we got cleaned up and went to get some crack Starbuck’s Tea. I got Iced Green Tea with 2 Splenda.

We spent a little while at Hobby Lobby getting a few things for Ethanie’s wedding, then we picked up Amanda again and went to lunch at Paradise Bakery. I had the Crumbly Blue Cheese Salad with Chicken and some more Iced Tea.

After lunch we drove a while to the outlet mall. I enlisted Ethanie and Amanda as personal shoppers which was probably the best decision of my life! I came out with some awesome deals on really cute basics, that will I’m sure be popping up in pictures. I wore one of the dresses I got for the bachelorette party!
After our outlet extravaganza we drove Amanda home and then went back to Ethanie’s friends house where we were staying to get ready for dinner. We picked up Amanda again later and went to Scotty’s Bar and Grill for dinner. We shared some Fried Pickles (OMG! so good) and ordered a beer- I had a Bell’s Oberon.

For dinner I got a wrap with cuban grilled chicken and some other delish toppings and some waffle fries hehe. I ate half the wrap and half the fries.

We were pretty bushed after dinner so we drove Amanda home and then went and crashed at Beth’s.
SATURDAY
Saturday morning Beth made us some french toast for breakfast. Then we cleaned up a little and started off our shopping day with some more crack Starbuck’s Iced Tea (Green with 2 Splenda again).

We did some more shopping damage then went for lunch at McAlister’s! I had a really good Sweet Chipotle Chicken salad and another iced tea. (I didn’t eat all those tortilla chips or all of the dressing).

We hit up 3 malls…oops!
After our shopping and lunch we drove back to Beth’s to get ready for dinner and the shower/bachelorette party.

Ethanie & I dressed up
Beth and Tricia and Ethanie’s sisters Amanda and Rebecca made an amazing spread of food for the shower.

I started off with a glass of some awesome sangria!

And then had a Dirrty Martini while we played a drinking game hehe!

The whole crew

And Ethanie and Amanda with our not so happy with us cab driver.

We ended up going to three different bars, I had three and a half drinks total at the bars. It was an absolute blast! Ethanie’s friends were a lot of fun!
We headed home in cabs around 1:30 but didn’t get to sleep until about 4…ooops. We also did a little late night snacking when we got back…definitely no pics of that haha!
Sunday
Beth made us breakfast in the morning then we packed up and drove back to Michigan. My eats of the day were super random, and I didn’t get pictures of most of them. Don’t fret, you’re not missing out on much!
I can’t wait until Ethanie is officiallly my sister-in-law! It was so much fun to spend a girl’s weekend with her!

Mmm, lot’s of good eats there lol. Fried pickles is something I’ve always wanted to try.
Sounds like a lot of fun! Glad you had a great time!
Fried pickles? Interesting…I’d try them!
