The sad pathetic looking muffins were the Martha White mix, the plump delicious looking muffins (on the right) were the generic mix…ahhhh.
I started off with 2 blueberry muffins sprayed with I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter spray and a banana, but another muffin made its way onto my plate unpictured ; )

The boys managed to polish off the other 9 muffins. I love when people want to eat the food I cook!
After brunch we lazed around for awhile, then after Tyler and I showered we loaded up Trent (haha) and our bikes and drove Trent back to Tyler’s parent’s house. Everyone was pretty hungry when we got there. Tyler and I shared a piece of cake from last night’s wedding (Tyler got the majority) which also went unpictured. After a little more indecisiveness we all agreed upon going out to dinner. Unfortunately it took us 3 tries to find a place open on a Sunday evening. We ended up at Logan’s… I was a little nervous.
After some menu inspection I decided upon the Triple Shrimp Skewers, 3 grilled skewers of shrimp, zucchini, and red onions. I got it with a house salad with fat free ranch, and a baked sweet potato. I was pretty proud of my decisions.
I couldn’t resist two of the buttery delicious Logan’s rolls.

Then my house salad came out, and I forgot to take a picture until I was a few bites in hehe.

Then came the main dish, the shrimp skewers and baked sweet potato.

(Sorry for the blurry pictures – I had to use Tyler’s iPhone).

The skewers came on a bed of rice, but I was really in the mood for sweet potato so after muching on some of the grilled zucchini and onions I went for that. I definitely made the right choice, I tried one bite of the rice and quickly realized it was not worth eating or making myself feel way too full. I ended up eating all of the shrimp skewers (minus the rice bed) and the whole sweet potato which was awesome! It was definitely still too much food. While I definitely made better choices than I would have 6 months ago, I still ordered too much food. Next time I would probably just order the sweet potato (you can order it off the sides menu) and a house salad (also on the sides menu). Now I know!
After dinner Tyler and I said our goodbyes and drove to the White Pine Bike Trail in Grand Rapids. We rode for about 1 hour and 40 minutes. I was totally in the mood for some ice cream, so once we were finished we went to the Wendy’s where we parked our car and got a little treat. I got a medium (16oz) vanilla Frostie! Yummy!

I was never the biggest fan of the chocolate frosties, but when I heard that they had vanilla I was a little excited. I was definitely not disappointed. I love the texture of frosties and this had a really intense vanilla flavor!
Now we’re back at home and watching TV after unloading our bikes and other stuff.
We also managed to come home with some fresh raspberries from Tyler’s Dad’s garden, that I’m pretty sure will be making an appearance in some meal tomorrow! Get EXCITED!

YUMMMM to the frosties!! I used to dip my fries in them
Logan’s makes me nervous too! Your meal sounds good though! Love the muffins!!
I love the muffine comparison!
I’m also a big vanilla frosty fan! I am not a chocolate ice cream fan so when they came out with a vanilla version of the original frosty I was very happy!
