Or rather I’m alive. I’m sure you may have been wondering since I haven’t blogged since Friday!
Saturday was a lot of fun. Tyler and I went to a Whitecaps baseball game for free through his work and met up with a few couples there. After, we went to Wendy’s and I got a medium vanilla frosty YUM!

Sunday we met up with one of the same couples to see their baby. The baby was adorable. We spent most of the rest of the day packing boxes. I also went for a 44 minute run and did 4.7 miles.
We also dug into the second Alternative Baking Co. Cookie, of the Outrageous Oatmeal Raisin persuasian. (Click there for the nutritionals).

The Review: This was another delicious vegan cookie! This had a nice cinnamon touch to it, and really tasted like any other oatmeal raisin cookie! It was very dense and chewy, which is definitely how I like my cookies, so I was extremely satisfied with just half the cookie.
The Verdict: I can again strongly recommend this cookie, to ANYONE, not just someone looking for vegan products! This cookie rocks and so does Alternative Baking Co! I can’t wait to try the final cookie, it’ll probably appear tomorrow…yummmm!
Monday Tyler worked and I got things done around the loft. We finally found out the definite times for our packing, loading, and delivery! Unfortunately we were up until about 3am packing because we had to have everything ready to be taken away on Tuesday.
Tuesday the movers came in the morning and spent half the day packing our stuff and hauling it off to a warehouse where it will be loaded onto a truck next Monday and driven out to Cali! Sadly, I also polished off my last 3 squares of Lake Champlain Rum Caramel Dark Chocolate : (

And now today (that’s Wednesday for anyone who has been slightly confused by my crazy recap!). Our loft has minimal furniture and such in it, just as much as we needed to get by until we are driving out to Sacramento. I feel like I’m in undergrad all over again!

Fortunately, we have a bed because we are selling it to Tyler’s mom and she doesn’t need it right away! Eating is interesting because all I have to cook with is a pan, small pot, flipper, scraper, spoon, and knife. We’ve been eating off my outside dishes (they’re melamine-perfect for picnics) and paper plates and styrofoam bowls! I feel a bit homeless but oh well!
I started my morning off with a 3 mile run that I finished in 27 minutes. My training has been a little wonky this week for the halfie, but I’m trying to get back on track.
Then it was breakfast time. I ate 2 servings of canned pineapple with 2 servings of wheat germ. I think adding wheat germ to my fruit is my new favorite filling combo!

After breakfast I showered and ran errands. I also spent an hour or so lounging at Barnes and Noble (they have better chairs than I do!) reading My Sister’s Keeper. This will be a trend for the next week. Free reads…love it!
After reading I headed home for lunch: 5 oz of cold shrimp with cocktail sauce, and half a whole wheat pita with butter spray and some Pizza Hut parmesan and romano cheese (you know those little packets of cheese they give you with your pizza, well I have a few lying around, so I used one!). Interesting I know!

Between lunch and dinner I had two snacks, a serving of raisins

and a Caramel Nut Brownie Luna Bar

Dinner tonight was interesting. We attended a scheduled tasting for the caterer we are planning on booking to sample her foods. Our samples were our dinner. Here’s the first two plates, we had one afterward, but no picture sorry!

We each tried a bite of all the things we got, so that we could get an idea of which foods we want at our reception. We left some food on the plate, which I felt kind of bad about, but I’d rather do that than be sickly full.
We also tried there cupcakes. I had the white cake with chocolate frosting. The cake part was very moist and delicious, but I must say the frosting was a disappointment. It was not the tastiest, and there was WAY too much even for me the frosting queen! We probably won’t be using the caterer for our cupcakes.

We headed home after our cupcakes and now we’re both just sitting using our computers…ahh we are nerds. We’re also sharing this roll of Spree because dinner was so early!

I love how a roll of these can last hours if you eat them slowly!
Well I’m glad to be back to blogging. It was a much needed break the past few days because I haven’t been in the nicest of moods between moving, the weather, and hormones. Hopefully this last half of the week will go a little more restfully.
Well friends I’m out for the night. I missed you all!
Before you head to bed tonight, go vote for Danica’s Nectarine Raspberry Sorbet! She’s an awesome blogger who definitely deserves to win this contest for such a healthy and delicious recipe! You can check out the recipe here Nectarine Raspberry Sorbet!

What a beautiful cupcake! I LOVE going to B&N or Borders to read the magazines or books. Grabbing an iced coffee, relaxing…ahhh the life
I feel like it is hard to find good cake sometimes! I hope you have fun trying other cakes!
We used Deerfield’s Bakery for our wedding. Yum yum yum.
