After I posted yesterday I scooted out the door to the yoga class at the gym. It was a challenging 50 minutes and I felt so relaxed afterwards! Thank you yoga! I saved my run for the evening so I could really dose up on the endorphins.
Lunch was the Amy’s Cheddar and Bean Burrito I bought on Monday with ketchup along with a banana with 1/2 serving of wheat germ.

After lunch I ran some errands then came home and made a few phone calls. My mood was still not great, but yoga definitely helped me keep a more even keel.
I had two snacks in the afternoon. The first was 2.5 oz blueberries, strawberries, 1 Kashi Almond Granola Bar, and a little bit of milk – SOO GOOD!

And the last 2 squares of my Lindt Dark Chocolate bar. Sad…

Around 5 pm I drove to a nearby track and got my run on. I ran 3.5 miles in 30:55 (Hal’s recommended workout for the day) and then jogged another .5 mile that got me to 36:35 minutes. A grand total of 16 laps around the track or 4 miles.
I didn’t think about any of the things going on (moving, etc) during my run and just focused on running hard. It really helped me turn the day around (or at least the evening and night).
Dinner was some leftover spaghetti with meat sauce and a bread heel with butter spray.

Dessert was some Spree that I shared with Tyler.

I spent part of the night watching the season finale of The Bachelorette…WHOA! I won’t ruin anything for ya I promise!
The rest of the night was spent making an itinerary for Tyler and I’s road trip to Sacramento. It should be a fun trip and we’re going to stop and see some awesome stuff along the way!
Sleep was fab! We woke up early this morning because Tyler had to be at work at 8.
I ate a quick breakfast of french vanilla yogurt, 2 oz blueberries, and 1 serving wheat germ. Loved it!

After breakfast I dropped some stuff off at the Goodwill and then went to the gym for some cross training on the elliptical. Here’s the breakdown of the 45 minute sweat fest:
- 10 minutes Level 7
- 7.5 minutes Level 10
- 5 minutes Level 13
- 7.5 minutes Level 10
- 10 minutes Level 7
- 5 minutes Level 5
It was sweaty and amazing. These workouts the past two days really reaffirm in my mind why I exercise, not just to maintain or lose weight or be healthy, but because it makes me feel so good once I get started I really enjoy it!
Well its time for a shower, and then some lunch. Happy Humpday!

Wow – way to go with your workouts! Can’t beat taking your mind off of things but working out!! I wish I could run right now!
I’ve never had that variety of Amy’s burritos but I love the crust on those things! Flaky and delicious

The Bachelorette! ughh I love Reid haha but good show!
I love exercise, too! I get cranky without a day of at least a few moment’s walk or jog. It makes SUCH a difference!
