Sunday I started off the day with my long run of the week. I finished 4.35 miles in 40 minutes.

“Breakfast” which wasn’t eaten until about noon was a Caramel Nut Brownie Luna Bar. p7260043

Tyler and I spent awhile looking at our wedding guest list and doing random things around the loft. Then we had lunch. I had a TJ’s Mango Chicken Sausage on a butt piece of wheat bread with 1/2 oz of shredded cheese melted, and a Tbs. of BBQ sauce, with 1 serving of Cheddar Harvest Sun Chips.

After lunch we packed up Tyler’s stuff that is going to his parent’s house for a few hours. Once we got everything loaded we drove there. After unloading we spent time talking about the move and about wedding plans for next year. I was starving by this point and Tyler’s mom offered to make us some dinner. I wanted something light after all the food I ate yesterday so I went for a salad made with green peppers and cucumbers fresh from Tyler’s parents garden! All together the salad contained iceberg lettuce, green peppers, cucumbers, gorgonzola cheese, chopped pecans, and Kraft Fat Free Zesty Italian Dressing.

We stayed for awhile longer chatting and making plans for the next week. Around 9:30 Tyler and I drove home with a very empty car. When I got home I was still a little hungry so I ate some Lindt 80% Dark Chocolate. I had four squares…unfortunately, this chocolate must have sat in the car at some point over the past few days and it had melted and the sugar separated out some. It still tasted ok, but not as good as I was expecting and it looked pretty ridiculous!

Breakfast this morning was a finishing off of my Kashi Heart to Heart cereal which ended up being 1.25 servings with 1/2 cup 2% milk (all we have).

My stomach was feeling a little sensitive so this was a good neutral option. After breakfast I checked email and spent a few hours (yep hours!) blogging about the weekend and the fabulous shower we had on Saturday!

Lunch was super random (like cabinet full of nothing random). I had a TJ’s mango chicken sausage with 1/2 oz shredded cheese and BBQ sauce, and a single serving bag of popcorn that had a very teeny amount of butter on it.

Dessert was 2 more squares of my melted Lindt 80% Dark Chocolate bar.

After lunch I showered and ran some errands including Sam’s Club, a used bookstore, and Meijer. Here’s my grocery haul (a very small haul I must say). Fiber One Bars, Fruity Snacks, Wheat Bread, Light English Muffins, Blueberries, Bananas, Yoplait Thick and Creamy Yogurts, 3 Clif Kid Twisted Fruits, some Peanut Butter Filled Pretzels (not TJ’s lets hope they’re good), and an Amy’s Cheddar Cheese Frozen Burrito.

When I got home I had a snack of 2.5 oz of blueberries and 1.5 servings of Honey Crunch Wheatgerm. Yep love my fruit with some wheatgerm!

p7270051

I also ate a few Flavor Ice’s while I surfed the internet. Unfortunately, I think they may have given me a headache (High Fructose Corn Syrup perhaps???). Perhaps I’ll not be eating them again.

Dinner was late at 8 (I’m channeling a little Dr. Seuss today with all these rhymes!). I had about 2 oz of dry spaghetti with meat sauce (ground beef and Ragu).

p7270053

Dessert was another 2 squares of my Lindt Bar. Ummm. yum

I also wanted to share with you all a new goal I started on Sunday. I’ve been noticing lately that I do not feel as hydrated as I should be, especially with these runs in hot weather. So my goal is to drink 4 Nalgene’s full of water every day. My Nalgene sports my undergrad college’s name (and is bpa free) and is a 20 ouncer, so that’s a little over 80 oz a day.

p7270052

I got all 4 in on Sunday and am working on number 4 for Monday as we speak. I’ll keep you posted how I do with my hydrating and how I feel after a few days of doing it consistently!

Tyler and I are going for a little walk since we both didn’t really exercise today (I was feeling a little too icky all day and got in a little bit of walking from my grocery shopping). Tomorrow is another running day and I’d rather rock that out than stress myself today.

Hope you all had a lovely Monday, and that Tuesday will be full of good things!

I definitely need to pay more attention to hydration too, esp in these hot weathers. I can’t wait to hear about your progress and review on your hydrating challenge!
I noticed that sometimes when I eat really cold stuff, I get headaches. Maybe it was just the ice of the Flavor Ice?

  4. Hi! I was surfing and found your blog post… nice! I love your blog. :) Cheers! Sandra. R.
