I started off the day with a 4.5 mile run in 39:30. I decided to use today as my first day off from the Whittle My Middle Challenge.
Breakfast was some Plain Chobani with Nature’s Path Pumpkin Flax Plus Granola and 365 High Fiber Cereal.

I packed a lunch to eat at school. A slice of Xagave Pumpkin Bread, celery sticks, and peanut butter.

When I got home I stumbled upon (not actually) a package on my doorstep. My sister-in-law, Ethanie, sent me a really sweet belated birthday package (I like this extending my birthday business!) filled with some fabulous goodies from her and my brother!

Ethanie is an AMAZING cook/baker so I was so excited to see some homebaked treats in there in addition to the other snacks! Thanks Brad and Ethanie!
I had an afternoon snack of Annie’s Cheddar Bunnies and Grapes.

Dinner was my new favorite meal: Butternut Squash Soup with a Michette Roll and 2 wedges of Laughing Cow Lite.

So good, I can’t wait until my next grocery trip just so I can get more soup and rolls so that I can have this dinner again and again and again and – you get the idea : )
For dessert I couldn’t resist digging into my homebaked oatmeal raisin cookies. I also had some protein pretzels with them.

I’ve got to get the recipe for these cookies from Ethanie because they are really really good! I warmed them up in the micro for about 10 seconds and they got warm and delicious – I’m drooling just thinking about it. I’m going to have to share these with friends so I don’t eat them all in a few days by myself haha!
Well I won’t keep you in suspense any longer (you probably already scrolled to the bottom of the post who am I kidding haha!)
