Hey friends!

Sorry for my lengthy absence from posting. I’ve been trying to make the most of the time I have with friends and family here in Michigan, and as a result blogging got put on the backburner.

First of all, it has been great to see Tyler. We’ve spent every day together that I’ve been here, and it has been amazing.

It’s also been so good to get to see family and a few friends!

There is much progress on the wedding front, but I’ll go into more detail about that in another post (get excited!).

So here are some photos to keep you updated on the first part of my Christmas Break in Michigan – Enjoy!

December 22, 2009 – Tyler and I met with the pastor who will be marrying us! We both felt very comfortable with him, and are excited to have him as our officiant!

We also had “Meet the Fockers” dinner as Tyler’s Dad called the first dinner with both sets of parents (Tyler’s parents and my parents – they hadn’t met prior to this). Dinner was delicious (as you can see below) and went very well!

December 23, 2009 – After going to the gym in Grand Haven with my parents (I went to a very hard yoga fitness class with my mom), Tyler and I spent the day doing finishing up some Christmas shopping, including our presents for each other. We went to Bonefish Grill for dinner, and ordered a delicious meal complete with an appetizer, bread, and drinks for dessert.

Well that’s all I have time for now. I’ll be back hopefully tomorrow with a recap of Christmas Eve, Christmas, the time between, and of course New Year’s Eve!

Tyler and I are heading to Grand Rapids soon to go to pick up our Christmas presents to each other (they needed some alterations), go to the gym, and then meet up with some friends for dinner before going to downtown Grand Rapids to ring in the New Year!

I hope you have a wonderful (and safe) night of celebrating!

I Can’t Believe It’s Almost 2010!

I’m glad the Meet The Fockers dinner didn’t go like the movie ;-)

Yay! Good to hear from you!

I used to be OBSESSED with Noodles & Co.! They had some asian dish I LOVED. I haven’t been there in about a year! Yum.

Aww. Chico is too cute. I am happy the parent meet-up went well! :)
