Reading Week Day 2

I don’t know what I would do without exercise. It’s really helping me stay sane this week.

Breakfast this morning was super filling – like food baby filling. I had pumpkin oatmeal (1/2 cup oats with 1 cup water and 1/2 cup pumpkin) topped with 1/4 oz slivered almonds and a Tbs. of brown sugar.

This held me over from 9am to when my Civil Procedure Review Session started at 1, and that was including my workout.

I spent an hour and a half at the gym (I’ve turned back into a gym rat haha). I did 42 minutes (5 miles) on the treadmill, followed by 23 minutes on the elliptical on levels 5 and 7, then 8 minutes on the spin bike (2.5 miles), and then another 17 minutes on the treadmill (just over a mile). I was worn out after, but I NEVER regret a workout.

After a quick shower, I headed to my exam review session. I spread my lunch out throughout the first two hours of the review. I kind of felt like I was going on a hike packing this lunch: California Crunchies Country Herb Almonds, 1 serving of Newman’s Own Organics Thin Stick Pretzels, and Newman’s Own Organics Organic Apricots (1 serving) and Apples (1/2 serving).

The review session didn’t end until 4:30, by that time I was pretty hungry. When I finally got home (stupid traffic), I snacked on half a bag of popcorn and an apple.

I ate dinner while finishing up last week’s episode of The Biggest Loser. I had Trader Joe’s Vegetable Gyoza with Gyoza Dipping Sauce, and Steamed Broccoli and Green Pepper with 365 Organic Peanut Sauce.

I love filling up on yummy veggies! I could eat broccoli every day!

Now I’m patiently awaiting The Biggest Loser. I’ve got my dessert/evening snack all ready: the other half of the Newman’s Own Organics Signature Series Super Dark Chocolate, 1 serving of Newman’s Own Organics Cinnamon Soy Crisps, and 1 serving of Barbara’s Shredded Spoonfuls.

I’m going to do some studying while watching the Biggest Loser, and some before it comes on. Tomorrow I’ll be one day closer to my first law school exam on Saturday. I’m starting to feel very nervous and anxious about exams. There is so much at stake…

Well I don’t want to stress out this late in the evening. I hope you all have a wonderful day tomorrow! Almost half way through the week!
