Did anyone else’s week fly by? I can’t believe it is Thursday already! And because I have no classes on Fridays, today is the last day for me before the weekend.

My week felt busy, but compared to some other weeks it really wasn’t. It also wasn’t the most productive week. I really got distracted by a number of things:

1. Tyler and I got our wedding pictures back!!!

They look AMAZING – here’s one as a teaser!

<3<3<3

2. Tyler and I also got new phones – you may have seen my tweets about it. We wanted to be on the same plan to save money and Tyler is very tech-savvy so we needed a provider that had the latest technology as well cheaper plans. We ended up going with the HTC EVO from Sprint. This is my first smart phone – EVER, yea I’m a little behind the times. The thing I’m enjoying the most is being able to check my e-mail from anywhere! (forgive my dirty fingerprints all over the screen!)

As a result of these exciting new things in my life, there were some late nights spent playing with phones and looking at pictures, and virtually no workouts – YIKES! I’m hoping to remedy that this weekend and next week.

I’m still adjusting to eating and my class and work schedule. Convenience and portability was very important this week.

Take for example, the 3 Cranberry, Mango, and Blueberry Bran muffins from Trader Joe’s I consumed throughout the week.

Pull them out of the fridge, cut them in half (or into quarters or pull the top off), spread on some butter, and you have a delicious and filling meal. The bran really gives it staying power and they have some fruit in them.

There has also been quite a bit of cereal. Three Sister’s Cereals were on sale at Whole Foods and I had to take advantage because I love their HFCS and trans-fat free take on kid’s cereals.

I LOVE their Marshmallow Oaties and Graham Crackerz! (I also love their Cinnamon Sweets but we bought the Graham Crackerz by accident and I happen to love them as well!)

And there was leftover pizza, because really what student doesn’t eat leftover pizza once in awhile.

But the star of the week was definitely this Shrimp, Mango, and Avocado Salad with Sweet Chili-Ginger Vinaigrette from Bon Appétit.

Tyler found this recipe on Epicurious the other day when we were looking for meal ideas for the week. When he read it, I was immediately impressed with the short list of ingredients as well as how clean and simple most of the ingredients were. The recipe calls for sweet chili sauce, unseasoned rice vinegar (I accidentally used seasoned rice vinegar because it is what I had in the cabinet), minced peeled fresh ginger, cooked shrimp, butter lettuce (we used romaine), mango, and avocado.

The recipe was fairly simple to make, although it definitely required more than the 15 minutes the recipe says it takes – come on it takes me 15 minutes at least just to prepare the mango and avocado (they are both halved, pitted, peeled and cut into slices in the recipe). It also makes 4 servings, so we made some minor modifications – we used medium shrimp with the tails off instead of large shrimp with the tails on and we used more than the recipe called for for just 2 salads, and we used half an avocado, and half a mango. Note – I do have extra dressing which we’ll probably use up tonight. I should have just halved the ingredients all together, which would have been very easy to do.

Tyler and I both really liked this salad. The dressing definitely has a little kick to it from the sweet chili sauce, but the avocado cools the heat some. The combination of sweet and spicy from the mango and the sweet chili ginger vinaigrette was spot-on! We’ll definitely be holding on to this recipe for future use.

Alright enough about wedding pictures and salads. You all want to know who the winner is of the Sam’s Club Gift Card.

Using the husband random integer generator (I had him pick a number) – the winner is Comment # 7!

Congrats to Amanda from Bakingwithoutabox!

Don’t worry I won’t hold you to buying detergent and cheerios ; )

One of Tyler and I’s other errands on Saturday was a trip to Sam’s Club.

From now until tomorrow, August 31, Sam’s Club has a back to school promotion going where customers can receive up to 6 Box Tops on select General Mills products. Remember Box Tops? I used to cut them off the cereal boxes to turn in at school. Not a bad way to earn some money for schools.

The lovely folks at MyBlogSpark provided me with an upgraded Plus Membership at Sam’s Club as well as a $25 gift card to the store.

Tyler and I used that $25 to stock up on one of our big box store favorites: Gatorade!

Source: http://lowcalcorner.com/g2-fruit-punch/

That gift card bought us two 24 packs of G2 (well almost, we owed a little over $7 in the end which included the 5 cent bottle return on all 48 plastic bottles). With all the running in the heat I’m doing, this G2 is much appreciated.

Now if you’re very lucky, you can win a $25 gift card of your own to Sam’s Club – and really who doesn’t love free grocery money.

So to enter this sweet little giveaway, you must:

Leave a comment listing 2 items you would use your gift card to buy at Sam’s Club. If Tyler and I hadn’t gotten G2 there were some frozen veggie stir fry’s and spice mixes that I would have loved to take home with me.

And for an additional entry you can tweet about the giveaway (please include my twitter ID @JuliaJogging) OR you can leave a second comment with your favorite thing about the Back to School season.

The giveaway ends Wednesday September 1, 2010 at 9pm Pacific Time (that’s 12am or midnight for you Easter Time folk). Then I will randomly draw and post a winner!

Shocking I know, I’m posting two days in a row. What can I say, I really missed ya.

Tyler and I had a crazy busy day yesterday – he tried on suits at Jos. A. Bank (which he looked very handsome in I must say), I tried on a super cute dress at Ann Taylor Loft.

Yep it came home with me – for $30 there was no way that it wasn’t.

Now I just need an occasion to wear it. I’m thinking it’s a little too casual for the wedding next weekend, and it has a white background (don’t wanna be that girl that wears white to someone else’s wedding). Perhaps the rehearsal dinner which is a beach BBQ with a boat ride after? What do you all think? Rehearsal dinner? Make the hubs take me out to dinner?

We also ventured to Macy’s, Crate & Barrel (they have a dining room table-or two-I’m a fan of), and REI.

REI was lots of fun. We took my bike in for a major tune-up, to the tune of over $100+ smackeroos – OUCH! And since they were having a big sale we managed to do some other monetary damage, including two new camping chairs, a bike helmet for Tyler, front and back lights for both our bikes, and a bike computer and second water bottle holder for Tyler’s bike. What can I say, we plan on using those bikes more now that we live in a more bike-friendly area and can bike very easily to the American River Trail.

Today, Tyler and I started off the morning with Fantasy Football Draft – yep you heard right. It’s that time of the year again, football time. While I can appreciate a good college game, I really have very little appreciation for watching football 4 nights a week on the tube. Guess that’s the way the cookie crumbles when you marry someone who loves sports like Tyler does.

After the Draft, we got our run/bike on. I covered 11.5 miles in 1:46:30. I ate a serving of Haribo Gummi Bears and drank half a G2 during the run in addition to some more water.

The run was much better this week than last, but it was still rough. I need to get out earlier in the morning when the sun isn’t so bright on the desert stretches of the trail.

After the run, I did a lot of nothing. I stole one of Tyler’s Strawberry Banana Yoplait Thick and Creamy’s and had a big bowl of Three Sister’s Marshmallow Oaties with almond milk. Nom nom nom.

For dinner Tyler and I decided to use a Groupon we bought a few weeks back for Giovanni’s Pizzeria. We actually bought two and used the first one almost as soon as we got it. Our first Giovanni’s Pizzeria experience was delicious. The crust and sauce were both fantastic.

Today we went with the Calzone (with sausage instead of ham – sometimes you eat red meat for your man) and the Don Giovanni pizza with red peppers, sausage, and mozzarella.

The calzone had mozzarella and lots of ricotta in the New York crust with sausage. Unfortunately, there was way too much cheese for my taste (or Tyler’s) and the ricotta blend was very bland and required salt to be palatable.

Next came the Don Giovanni’s Pizza – this was our second experience with this pizza as we really enjoyed it the first time.

While the pizza looked delicious and was no doubt good, it was not as good as the first time we had it. I chock it up to a lack of pizza sauce. That tomato-ey sweetness really makes or breaks pizza for me, and without enough of it, I just don’t enjoy pizza like I usually do. And we still have most of that pizza left because after the calzone we both only had enough room for one slice of the pizza. Dinner tomorrow – yep.

So, our trip to Giovanni’s was less satisfying than expected. We aren’t writing them off completely, we really enjoyed our first pizza experience, but we definitely won’t order the calzone again.

After Giovanni’s we stopped at Trader Joe’s to pick up some groceries then we headed home.

Dessert was some Trader Joe’s Dark Chocolate Mints and a few Mini Peanut Butter Cups, while watching an episode of Dexter Season 2.

Well, it’s about time for bed. Have to be up early to exercise with Tyler and to do some homework for the week. Have a fabulous Monday!

It was a beautiful and spectacular day, and I wouldn’t change a thing about it, even the fire-alarm, but that’s really a story for the big wedding post. Our photographer has given us previews of a couple wedding photos and I’m more than a little excited to see the rest and share them all with you.

Since the wedding Tyler and I have had quite a few other “major life events” including moving (Tyler moving to California and moving to our new apartment in Sacramento), Tyler starting to work from home, and the beginning of my second year of law school. We have also had more exciting developments in our extended family, but I’m staying tight-lipped on those for a little longer. Needless to say, it has been a very exciting month as newlyweds.

Tyler and I are both adjusting to living with each other and to each other’s schedules. For example, Tyler has to be up at around 6 or 7 to start work, his company is allowing him to work remotely from Sacramento until the end of October. I, on the other hand, have only 1 day a week where I have to be up at 9am. For me deciding when to get up on days where I could sleep later was a no-brainer. I get up with Tyler almost every morning, save those occasional mornings where I stay in bed for an extra thirty or so minutes. Its adjustments like this that are part of being married/living with someone else.

And I’m still training for the Nike Women’s Marathon – although my training was admittedly less than dedicated for the past month. I have gotten in some longer runs including a 16 miler a few weekends back and an 11 miler last weekend, but they haven’t been as easy as I would have liked. Hopefully tomorrow’s long run will go well.

Tyler and I are off to run some errands for the day. We have to pick up a suit for a wedding we’re going to next weekend, drop my bike off to get some work done (2 flat tires makes riding it really difficult), and pick up a friend’s husband up at the train station. I’m also hoping we can tackle some of the things that still need to be put away in our apartment. We’re close to, but not completely unpacked and put away.

Now that my schedule has settled down a bit, I will definitely be blogging more often. So you have lots of entertaining posts about feeding my husband and being a newlywed to look forward to.

Enjoy your Saturday!

Last Friday night I flew from Sacramento to Grand Rapids, Michigan.

I had a layover in Minneapolis at about 7am and stopped and grabbed this egg white and cheddar whole wheat bagel sandwich from Einstein.

What is about the combo of eggs, cheese, and bagel that is just irresistible? Am I the only one with this problem?

When I arrived at 9:30 am in Grand Rapids, Tyler and his brother, also a groomsmen, picked me up from the airport and then drove me to my parents house.

Lunch that day was some Progresso Soup (with hot sauce) and a wasa cracker.

I worked on my law review article and ate some snacks including pretzel cheese sandwiches and M & M’s.

My mom made some kebabs for dinner, she also had sushi that I ate a few pieces of.

And the star of the show was definitely the lemon-meringue pie that my little sister made from scratch, crust and all! I may have had two pieces…

It was AMAZING!

I won’t give you a play by play of all my eats from Sunday on but here are some of the highlights:

As for exercise, I have been holding pretty steady on my marathon training.

Sunday I was lucky enough to be accompanied for twelve humid miles by my mom and dad on bikes! My dad led the way, and took us up and down some major hills. I’m proud to say I didn’t stop, I even kept running while I was drinking water. It took us about an hour and 55 minutes. We spent the rest of the morning attending church, the same church where Tyler and I will be married on Saturday.

Monday my mom and I went to a class at the local YMCA where we have a family membership. The class was called Power Flex and was very similar to Body Pump type classes with weight training and some cardio thrown in. This class was no joke – my mom has me beat in the strength department!

Both Tuesday and today my mom and I attended a gentle yoga class at the YMCA – it was just what we needed to relieve some of the stress of last minute wedding planning.

Wednesday I ran approximately 5 mile in 45 minutes. The humidity really gets to me after living in the dessert for a year, and it definitely slows me down a bit, as do the hills around my parents house – we are in the Lake Michigan dunes.

Now a recap of today…

Before yoga I met up with Tyler after he picked up his tux nearby to get a flashdrive with some pictures from him. Yoga was amazing! We did a one nostril breathing exercise that was really interesting and definitely very calming.

After yoga this morning, we came home and ate breakfast. I had an english muffin with two “fried” egg whites.

Between breakfast and lunch I worked on finalizing the table arrangements, vacuumed, moved around some of my stuff for when my other siblings get here, and put the finishing touches on the programs that my sister and I spent hours tying ribbons on last night. Thanks Diana!

Lunch was Oikos vanilla, Cracklin Oat Bran (love this stuff!), and strawberries!

Lunch was followed by showering and then running lots of errands. One of my errands was going downtown to my old favorite running store, Gazelle in Holland, and getting a new pair of running shoes. I stuck with a tried and true favorite and got the Brooks Adrenaline 10.

They feel like slippers and I can’t wait to run in them after I break them in a little! Thanks Mom and Dad for supporting my running habit/addiction

Later we stopped at Hobby Lobby and then at the bridal salon to pick up my dress. I’m staying tight-lipped about the dress, don’t want Tyler getting any hints, and don’t worry you’ll see it in a few days.

Dinner was some Lake Michigan salmon, half a corn cob, and 3 small pieces of Vienna Bread with Brummel and Brown.

And pickles – I love pickles!

And since I am definitely a night-time snacker, I had some Honey Mustard pretzel twists and Shockers for a snack.

Sorry the camera ate the picture of the pretzels

Tomorrow is going to be busy but so good!

My maid of honor Elise arrives and we’ll be getting our nails done. I’ll also be finishing up the table markers, and Tyler and I will be picking up our marriage license! Then it’s time for the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. I can’t wait to see Tyler for more than a few minutes and to get to see my brothers and sister in law!

Have a great day tomorrow! I’ll blog after the rehearsal dinner if I have time – I can’t wait to show you the food!

Yep you heard that right 18.5 miles. Now let me clarify.

I woke up this morning and headed to Fleet Feet Sacramento to join their Sunday morning fun run group. I ended up running with another two people who were running 16 miles this week. I stayed with them for the first 50 minutes, then turned around and ran back to the store. I had heard that the route that I did was 12 miles, but when I clocked it at home it came up way short of 12 – try right around 11 – oh well

I ran my 11 miles in 1:40.

The best part of the run this morning was getting to meet some new people. I met people who live very close to the apartment Tyler and I want so badly, and another woman my age who is running the Nike Women’s Marathon in October as well. I love making new friends!

When I got home I showered and then promptly got right back in my bed at 11 in the morning. I was brought back to reality by a phone call from Tyler and decided it was time for some food. The only thing that sounded good was pizza, so I made myself a homemade pizza with Whole Foods Whole Wheat Pizza Crust, Trader Giotto’s Pizza Sauce, Part-skim Mozzarella, and diced green peppers.

I managed to demolish half of it for lunch – hey I was hungry! (This was the first serving – I had this x 2).

During the afternoon I worked on my second law review article. While I worked I had some snacks (did I mention being hungry) – oranges and then a few too many serving of animal crackers.

Once I finally finished the second draft of my article, which is heinously boring and will never be read by a single soul, seriously, I had another 2 slices of pizza, that I didn’t take a picture of.

Then I decided to go for a long walk. I drove to the park that is a block away from the apartment of my dreams and walked while talking to Elise and then Tyler on the phone. I did 10 laps around the park (which is 3/4 mile around) for a total of 7.5 miles in around 2 hours. I stretched then drove home.

When I got home I had the second half of my dinner which resulted in this

Yep, I ate an entire pizza in one day. I don’t know whether to be proud or embarrassed, so I’ll stick with proud At least, it was a healthy pizza.

And to finish off the night I had a little post dinner snack of SweeTarts and pretzels.

Holy carbohydrates batman! I definitely did my fair share of eating and exercising today (between the run and walk about 3:40).

Tomorrow morning I hope to find out about the dream apartment – I’m sure you’ll be grateful if I do, so that I can stop talking about it.

It’s going to be a busy week between law review assignments, my internship, beginning to pack up the apartment, and packing to leave on Friday to go to Michigan. Wish me luck…or maybe sanity! Have a great week!

Are you curious yet? Maybe, just a little…good! Well you’ll probably just scroll to the end now, but to keep the suspense going, I’ll post some of the latest eats.

Friday started off really well – I ran a strong 5.5 miles in 47:30. It was a great run!

Breakfast was a Trader Joe’s Bran Muffin at work, and lunch was carrots and hummus eaten in the car on the way to two more apartment viewings.

Tyler and I have actually already been approved for one apartment. It has a few issues and we want to make sure we get the best that we can, so I’m continuing to view apartments – I saw another this afternoon that we may apply for just in case. I’m happy to report the first viewing yesterday was a HUGE success! It’s actually only about 4 houses down from the apartment we are approved for, but it has a few things that make it a little better than the first, such as more space, wood floors, a bigger and nicer bathroom, and a place to put our bikes and bike rack.

We turned in the applications on Friday and hope to hear back on Monday – keep your fingers crossed guys, we really want this apartment! I spent most of the afternoon and early evening running around doing apartment stuff and was famished by the time I got home. So I had this little combo for an early dinner – polenta cooked with 2 Laughing Cow Wedges, and some Mango Key Lime Salsa! It was delish!

Of course I was hungry again at 8, so an Amy’s Burrito made an appearance – shocking I know I also had 2 oranges for dessert, and there was a smoothie in there sometime but it went unpictured.

Now Saturday, I woke up and did a little morning strength training:

4 sets of 12 each: bicep curls, shoulder press, bent over dumbbell row, tricep extensions, modified push ups

4 sets of hip girdle leg lift exercises

4 sets of 25 each: crunches and one leg bridges

I had an early lunch of…you guessed it an Amy’s Burrito – the last actually, which is probably a good thing.

After an apartment viewing and running an errand (Target!) I came home and had some carrots and hummus for a snack.

Tyler and I spent the afternoon working on wedding items – like booking a limousine service and talking about plans for our (hopefully) new apartment.

Around 5 I had an early dinner a similar combo to last night, only this time polenta, one Laughing Cow wedge, and some Trader Joe’s marinara sauce!

I mixed it all together before I ate it – it was pretty yummy and I’ll be making it again.

My evening snack/late dinner was pretzels, animal crackers, and sweetarts in an effort to carb load while watching Bride Wars!

Now what am I carb loading for you might ask (well ok I’m not really carb loading, I just like to eat snacks while I watch movies ok)? Well this morning (in about 45 minutes) I’ll be running 11 miles.

And why am I running 11 miles?

Because I am training for this!

Source: http://inside.nike.com/blogs/nikerunning_events-en_US/?tags=nike_womens_marathon_2010+race_weekend&tagOperator=AND

When I found out my best friend and Maid of Honor Elise was moving out to California for grad school I couldn’t help but think of all the fun possibilities. Elise and I chatted about our running and eventually decided that we would enter the random drawing with a running group I am a member of (I use the term member loosely as I have never really done anything with them…oops).

Well I was shocked and excited when I discovered one evening that a substantial portion of money, that happened to be the same amount as the registration for the Nike Women’s Marathon, had disappeared from my account! I texted Elise and she later confirmed that the same thing had happened to her. And with that we were officially registered for the Nike Women’s 2010 Marathon!

Now not only will I be running my first marathon with one of my besties, I’ll also be running my first marathon on my 24th birthday! Yep, October 17, 2010, the day of the Nike Women’s is also my 24th birthday! I can’t imagine a better way to celebrate!

So in October, Tyler, Elise, and I will be venturing to San Francisco. We have a hotel booked and are already planning where we will eat dinner the day before. I could not be more excited!

As for training – I have been loosely following Hal Higdon’s Novice 2 Marathon Training Plan. However I started 16 weeks out instead of 18, so I started on week 16 (sort of). Last week’s 10+ miler was the first official training run. I’m hoping to put together more of a plan after the wedding and move (when I have more time) and include some speed training.

As for timing, I’m not sure what my goal times are yet for the marathon, I hope to get a better idea of that when I start increasing my mileage more.

Well I’m so glad to finally announce that on the blog – its been hard not to mention it for the past few months! So you can expect to hear a lot about it now

I hope you had a fantastic weekend and I’ll be back later today with my eats after 11 miles!

I for one am really glad tomorrow is Friday…sort of. I have A LOT on my plate right now with the final steps of wedding planning, law review assignments, trying to find a new apartment, and my Capitol internship.

I have been getting some good workouts in (for my sanity’s sake) and trying to eat well…I mean come on wedding in 15 days – yikes!

Workout’s of the week:

Tuesday: 3.5 run and strength training

Wednesday: 3 mile run (a fast one) and some running exercises directed at the hip girdle.

Today: Strength training and a lot of walking between work and 2 apartment viewings.

Speaking of apartment viewings: Tyler and I turned in an application for one today. It’s in an awesome area of Sacramento, very close to the Capitol, closer to my school, and a great price. It has a few downfalls, but nothing we can’t deal with, and overall the location and price make up for the downfalls. It’ll take a day or two to find out if our application was accepted, so in the meantime I’m still searching and viewing more apartments.

After I viewed the apartment today that we put in an application for, I was starving, so I grabbed lunch at this cute little restaurant called Ambrosia right near the Capitol. I went there last week for lunch with one of my coworkers and fell in love – with the food and the restaurant’s atmosphere. Today, I ordered the vegetarian sandwich and a brownie cookie.

I had half the sandwich and half the cookie for lunch. The sandwich was really good – the bread was super soft but with a good crust, and the cookie was chocolately heaven.

After work I dropped off the application I mentioned earlier and then headed home.

Dinner was the other half of the sandwich – the veggies lost some of their cripsness and the bread got a little soggy (is that a word?) but I still ate it and liked it.

And I had the other half of the brownie cookie, this time I nuked it for 10 seconds and OMG was it delicious – gooey, chocolately, melty, YUM! I better stay far away from Ambrosia or I could very easily gain a few pounds from these cookies.

I had some Spree too, it was a double dessert day, some days are just like that.

Earlier this week I polished off a box of Annie’s Deluxe Shell’s and Cheese between 2 dinners.

Just thinking about this stuff makes me happy…ok and hungry. I could live off mac and cheese.

I also had more carrots and hummus – what a great snack

And there was oatmeal, Shockers, and of course Amy’s Burritos – what week would be complete without those!

Well that’s it for tonight. I’ll leave you to drool over the thoughts and images of shells and cheese, burritos, and of course brownie cookies.

Have a fabulous Friday!

I don’t know about all of you, but I am thoroughly enjoying this long weekend.

This week has been a hectic one between law review assignments, my boss’s bills being heard in Committees, and making big decisions.

Yesterday I started off the day with a 10.25 mile run – I finished in 1:34. I feel pretty good about the run overall. It was by no means easy, but getting back into double digit runs never is. I ate 3 very stale Clif Shot Blocks around mile 8, and just so you know Clif Shot Blocks are VERY hard to chew when they are stale. I couldn’t breathe and chew them at the same time because they were making my teeth stick together so I had to stop running in order to eat them.

I also ran with a CamelBak yesterday which was a new one for me. I didn’t mind it nearly as much as I thought I would and plan on doing it for all my longer runs that I have to run solo.

I refueled after my run with a strawberry banana smoothie (frozen strawberries and banana, vanilla almond breeze, and some ice cubes).

I spent the evening with one of my coworkers and her family at a neighborhood block party. There were plenty of delicious eats (a few too many), some desserts (not just one), and some home firework displays. That was my early 4th of July celebration.

This morning I woke up around 7 (definitely not enough sleep mind you) and decided to participate in a free 4th of July race I had read about when I got home. I hauled into my running stuff and out the door.

The race was a 5 miler hosted by Fleet Feet and Buffalo Chips (a local running club). I decided not to “race” and instead just went at a 9 minute/mile pace. It was a difficult run, and my legs were far from fresh (hello 10.25 miles on Saturday). I just focused on finishing the five miles and maintaining the same pace. When I finally saw the 4 mile marker, I “squeezed the tube” as my high school cross country would have said, and picked up my pace. I finished at 44:40. I’m just proud of myself for getting out there and doing something today : )

After I got home I spent some quality time with this G2 rehydrating.

For lunch I rescued this whole wheat bagel from the depths of my freezer and topped it with 2 wedges of Laughing Cow Light Swiss Cheese. Twas delish!

I also dug an orange out from the drawer-o-oranges (I love Costco). I must say though, that I have been less than impressed with these oranges - they have all been very difficult to peel, and they do not pull apart into segments like I prefer my oranges to do. Am I the only one with extreme orange preferences?

Tyler and I spent the day (yep most of it) searching online for apartments and making a list of ones we are interested in. All that googling left me hungry, so I had an afternoon snack of something else I rescued from the depths of my freezer – this hummus – bet you didn’t know you could freeze hummus! I ate it with some carrots and cucumber slices.

Dinner this evening was eaten while taking a break from the apartment hunt – love me some Amy’s Burrito.

Currently, I just polished off another smoothie – dessert style. It looks the same as the one from Saturday so I’ll spare you a duplicate picture. And I’m now listening to fireworks and firecrackers going off.

I hope you had a fabulous 4th of July! And if you have it off from work like I do, I hope you enjoy tomorrow and the long weekend!
